OggWinCs  - a freeware wIndows audio converter

Description

With OggWinCs you can convert audio files between different formats.

Supported conversions:

OGG -> MP3
OGG -> WAV
WAV -> MP3
WAV -> OGG
WAV -> MP4 (Advanced Audio Coding AAC)
MP3 -> OGG
MP3 -> WAV
MP4 -> WAV
MP2 -> MP3
MP2 -> WAV

It is a graphical frontend and uses the commandline tools oggdec, oggenc2, lame and Nero Digital Audio  for audio conversion.

This programm needs also Microsoft .NET Framework (v1.1 or higher) to run on your PC, which comes with the WinXP ServicePack2.

Installation:

Unzip the oggwincs.zip to your harddisk, that's all. Start the GUI by running oggwincs.exe.

AAC Support:
The Nero tools (neroAacEnc.exe and neroAacDec.exe) can't be provided within this zip package for legal reasons.
So, if you want mp4(AAC) support then you can download the Nero tools for free (neroAacEnc.exe and neroAacDec.exe) from the nero homepage.
You must put the exe-files into the same directory where you unzipped OggWinCs.
