WinAvrTag  - a Tool for Programming Atmel AVR Microcontrollers

Description

With WinAvrTag you can

• write/read Flash and EEPROM Memory
• write/read Fuse Bytes and Lock Bits

Supported Devices:

• AtMega16
• AtMega32

It is a graphical frontend and uses the commandline tool jtagice.exe, which is provided for free when you install the Atmel-Studio Package.

Between the PC and the Microcontroller you need a AVR JTAG Dongle e.g. the Low Cost Part (~50€) from Olimex. The Dongle can also be used for the Atmel Studio Debugger to let you comfortable debug your Application.

This programm needs also Microsoft .NET Framework (v1.1 or higher) to run on your PC, which comes with the WinXP ServicePack2.

In principal every Atmel Device with JTAG interface can be supported, but I don't have Devices for testing the Application.

Installation:

Unzip the winavrtag.zip to your harddisk, that's all. Start the GUI by running winavrtag.exe.

Usage:

To run the Programm you must specifiy the Path to the jtagice.exe and configure the Com Port.
