WinViCo  - windows video converter (GUI for ffmpeg)

Description

It is a video conversion program.
It's a grafical user interface for the Fffmpeg and Ffplay commandline tool(http://ffmpeg.mplayerhq.hu/).


WinViCo supports only a few conversions which are possible with Ffmpeg.
The aim is to support only the "most wanted" conversions.

It's possible to convert to- and from the following formats:

    MPEG-2        Video- und Tone format in televison quality
    WMV              Windows Media Video
    FLV                Flash Video
    AVI                 Audio Video Interleaved
    MOV               QuickTime
    ASF                Advanced Streaming Format

An internal video player is also integrated to watch the videos (Context Menue in File Window).

Installation:

UnZip the File and start WinViCo.exe.
WinViCo needs the following Directory Structure to run properly:
 

WinViCo                         
    |__Ffmpeg                 
    |         |_  ffmpeg.exe     
    |         |_  ffplay.exe       
    |         |_  pthreadGC2.dll
    |_WinViCo.exe 

Please check if all files are available if something does not work.

WinViCo needs also the Microsoft .NET Framework to be installed on your PC. It should already be installed during the Windows installation (XP and higher).

Using the program
The Control of the program _should_ be self explaining !
In the Options Menue, there can be selected some configurations to influence the conversion like
frame rate, frame size, aspect ratio etc.
